Week 20 – Class Warfare

We hear so many propagandized things going on in America.  One hot topic is that we are undergoing class warfare.  The middle class is disappearing and leaving only the upper class and poor.  What are we to do?

Well, we could dwell on this conundrum and possibly manifest this into reality.  Or, we could use the Law of Substitution and replace these negative headlines with something more positive and fun.

So today I decided that I would do the latter – and make this a day just for fun.  I wanted to make a point about class warfare from a much lighter point of view.  The result is as follows.

I recalled the Marx Brothers routine in “Horse Feathers” where there was the kind of class warfare that I can laugh about watching rather than become somewhat depressed over “a perfect world that just isn’t completed yet”.

Watch and enjoy the video and see if you don’t agree that this is a much more palatable version of “class warfare”.

Did you like the substitution of a different feeling used in the video?  Was it a better rendition of class warfare than the rhetoric we hear from the politicos and in the media?  Now think of all the other things that we hear and are sick and tired of listening to. Wouldn’t it seem better to substitute something funny or entertaining than the gloom and doom we are so accustomed to?

I invite you to do the same thing I did today.  Substitute something of a “feel good” nature to replace the media version.  You’ll be surprised how much better you feel with this version versus the brainwashing version.

I for one am on my way back to the archives to find something to substitute for other things that seem to depress me. Maybe Charlie Chaplin in “The Dictator”.

Until next time, think right and live right.
